Rebecca GreenAssociate Consultant
Rebecca is a purpose driven professional who joined Syntrinsic Investment Counsel in January 2021 after completing her MBA with a focus in Sustainable Business Practices. She was especially drawn to the firm given the organization’s values and commitment to working towards not just a sustainable community, but a generative world. Rebecca is committed to equitable access and opportunity for all people and attributes her own success to the many unique experiences afforded to her, including being a first-generation college student.
Rebecca works on the Operations Team as an Associate Consultant supporting the logistical needs of clients including financial reporting and trades.
Originally from Houston, Rebecca earned her bachelor’s degree from St. Edward’s University located in Austin, TX. In 2013 she moved to Washington D.C. where she served in the nonprofit sector for 5 years in a variety of roles, mainly in the fundraising, events, and donor relations space. Due to a desire to continue her personal and professional growth, she spent the next two years at the University of Oregon where she earned her Master of Business Administration. Having lived in all continental US time zones, Rebecca now calls Denver home.
Rebecca volunteers for Women in Cleantech and Sustainability by serving on the events committee. In her spare time, Rebecca enjoys attending concerts of any music genre, traveling, and looks forward to exploring more of “Colorful Colorado.” She enjoys taking her dog, Tex, on long walks and hikes. If you ever want to talk waste prevention, CSR, impact investing (or wine) let her know!
“I am passionate about eliminating food waste, food insecurity, and other sustainability issues. I am especially interested in how modern pop culture and the sports and events industry can a catalyst for positive change. I hope to leave a lasting impact on our world by my daily actions both in my personal life and in the work I do at Syntrinsic”
