Tracey Nykiel joined Syntrinsic in December 2024 as a Managing Director, Lead Consultant. She serves on the firm’s Investment Committee and works closely with Syntrinsic’s institutional clients, providing investment advice and strategic guidance to support their missions. Tracey works from her home office in Lake Forest, IL, a suburb of Chicago.

Prior to joining Syntrinsic, Tracey was a Consultant Relations Manager at Wellington Management Company where she developed and managed relationships with top and mid-tier investment consulting firms in the Midwest and East Coast. Before that, she served as a Senior Client Investment Officer at Northern Trust Asset Management, managing customized, open architecture multi-asset class investment programs for key clients within the Retirement OCIO segment. Tracey has also held senior consultant and manager research positions at RVK, Aon, and Mercer, where she was responsible for asset allocation, portfolio construction, and investment manager research for institutional clients, including endowments, foundations, and non-profits.

Tracey earned her MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and her Bachelor of Arts from Rutgers University. She holds her Series 7 and 63 licenses through FINRA.

Outside of work, Tracey enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and working on DIY home improvement projects.
