Associate Consultant

Max Raymond joined Syntrinsic’s operational team in June of 2026. As an Associate Consultant, he supports investment management and strategic advisory work for foundations, endowments, and nonprofit organizations. Aligned with Syntrinsic’s mission-driven approach, he is motivated by the opportunity to pair analytical rigor with meaningful community impact.

He graduated from the University of Arkansas with a bachelor’s degree in finance, with a specific concentration in banking and investments. During his time at the Arkansas Walton College of Business, Max earned placement on the Dean’s list and Chancellor’s list while developing a strong foundation in portfolio construction, financial analysis, and critical decision-making. An avid member of the Walton Finance Club, his academic experience was complemented by leadership in the Young Men’s Service League, where his volunteer work and advocacy as Philanthropy Manager deepened his commitment to service and community. He intends to pursue the Certified Financial Planner designation as he continues to grow in the field.

Originally from Texas and now based in Denver, he is invigorated by the balance of outdoor adventure and environmental consciousness that Colorado offers. Outside of work, he enjoys skiing, fishing, basketball, golf, exploring new foods, and spending time with friends and family. He views himself as a science nerd; he is especially fascinated by biology and atmospheric sciences.

Max is driven by the conviction that even small contributions can create meaningful change, and he is excited to support organizations working to strengthen their communities.

“I am passionate about supporting individuals who have devoted their time, talent, and energy to building something they deeply care about. I believe we all have a civil and professional duty to better ourselves, our communities, and our surrounding ecosystems in a way that will promote positive, sustainable growth for the foreseeable future.”
