Jonalyn joined Syntrinsic in February 2021. She serves as a primary consultant for Syntrinsic Social Capital, Syntrinsic’s impact consulting team. She supports foundations, funds, and individuals in their organizational development, team building, and impact investing strategy.
Jonalyn has worked as an independent consultant supporting various efforts of foundations, funds, and individuals including organizational development, impact strategies, and capital deployment. Prior to that, she was a senior consultant at Frontline Solutions, the Director of Member Engagement at Maryland Philanthropy Network, and a Program Officer at the Baltimore Community Foundation. Additionally, she has been an adjunct professor in the MSW program at the University of Maryland.
Her expertise in philanthropy, coaching, and strategy implementation combined with her passion for people and community change attracted her to Syntrinsic.
Jonalyn moved from Baltimore to Denver in 2019 to pursue her MBA at the University of Denver. Additionally, she holds a Masters of Social work from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish and Liberal Arts from Eastern Mennonite University.
Jonalyn serves on the board of CEDS Finance. She loves spending time with family and friends – enjoying her new home state and all that it has to offer including hiking, skiing, and the many breweries in Colorado.
